The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY, through the General Funds intends to apply the sum of Seven Million One Hundred Thousand Pesos ( P 7.1 M ) being the

Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Renovation of College of Marine Engineering Bldg. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY now invites bids for the Renovation of the College of Marine Engineering Building. Completion of the Works is required from April 7, 2014 until September 4, 2014     (150 days). Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/ fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
