The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY, through the GAA Funds intends to apply the sum of FIFTEEN MILLION PESOS ( P 15 M ) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the construction of PMMA Barracks Bldg. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY now invites bids for the Construction of the PMMA Barracks Bldg. Completion of the Works is required from March 28, 2015 until October 26, 2015 ( 210 calendar days). Scope of Works (SOW) are the General Requirements ,Earthworks, Reinforcing Steel Bars, Concrete Works, Formworks & Scafoldings, Masonry Works, Tile Works,Structural SteelTruss,Tinsmithry Works, Carpentry Works,Aluminum/Glass Works, Millworks, Electrical Works, Plumbing Works, Fire Alarm System ,Lightning Protection System, Painting Works, Polythelene Sheet vapor Barrier and Water Proofing Works.

 

Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/ fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
