  1. Applicants must bring: 2pcs Pencil #2, 1pc Black Ballpen, 1 Valid ID (school ID or any Gov't issued ID), Examination Fee: Php 1,200.00.
  2. Applicants must wear a plain white T-Shirt.
  3. The Psychological Assessment will start at 0700H and will end at 1700H. Hence all applicants are required to be in the testing center at 0600H.
  4. 2014 and 2015 Entrance Examination passers must register until February 15, 2017 (Wednesday) by calling the Board of Admissions at (047) 913 2239 or (047) 913 4396 local 166 for verification of Entrance Examination results.
  5. Parents are STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the testing room.

PMMA Superintendent VADM RICHARD U RITUAL congratulates the 997 successful examinees among the 1,471 hopeful applicants of the recently held Philippine Merchant Marine Academy Entrance Examination on September 24, 2016 in various testing centers nationwide.


In compliance with CHED Administrative Order No. 02 Series of 2016, the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy will be holding its first-ever Consultative Meeting with Stakeholders on March 29, 2016. Representatives from the PMMA Alumni Association, the PMMA Employees’ Association, and the Corps of Midshipmen have been invited to participate in this momentous event. The Consultative Meeting is expected to gather feedback, inputs, suggestions and recommendations to eventually determine priority projects to be implemented in 2017. This historic undertaking, a part of the Bottom-Up Budgeting (BUB) program of the Philippine Government, will integrate the inputs of the Academy’s valued stakeholders, with the visions of the PMMA Administration.
