Position: Disposal Committee Staff
Place of Assignment: Assistant Superintendent for Admin and Finance Office
Status of Employment: Service Contract
Qualification Standards:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Engineering or other related courses
- Civil Service Eligibility is an advantage
Preferred Competencies:
- Excellent in communication skills in oral and written
- Computer Literate
- Have an interpersonal skills
- Dynamic, proactive, flexible and able to work under pressure
Duties and responsibilities:
- Consolidate all the documents for disposal from the Supply Unit including those documents that are currently under process of the Disposal Committee.
- Familiarization of government laws, rules and regulations and process on disposal of properties and the required supporting documents.
- Coordinate to the units concerned and Disposal Committee members with a representative of COA to perform the site inspection, physical count or assessment of the items foe disposal.
- Prepare all the necessary documentation for the disposal for submission to COA Office.
- Once approved by the COA to dispose the items, together with the Committee secretary, prepare all the necessary documentation for the bidding process of the items for disposal.
- Ensure that all items disposed are properly documented and adjusted from the Accounting and Supply records.
- Provide a comparison of the Timeline of Activities initially set by the Disposal Committee with their actual activities/accomplishments.
- Report weekly to the Disposal Committee Chairman for the updates and accomplishments.
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
