Position: GAD Specialist I
Place of Assignment: Chief Administrative Office
Status of Employment: Service Contract
Monthly salary: Php27,000.00
Qualification Standards:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in any of the following areas: Gender / Women and Development, Public Administration / Management, Social Development, Social Sciences or other allied courses.
- Knowledgeable in Gender and Development Activities
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide technical support in policy development, analysis and advocacy, research, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of gender mainstreaming efforts;
- Coordinating all activities of the GFPS;
- Consolidating, preparing and submitting all GAD-related reports;
- Disseminating GAD-related information for appropriate action of the GFPS;
- Assist and coordinate with the concerned units in the formulation of GAD Plan and Budget (GPB);
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of GAD Program, Activities and Projects (PAPs) and ensure that they meet GAD commitment and objectives;
- Assist in the evaluation of GAD PAPs;
- Consolidate GAD Accomplishment Reports in accordance with the guidelines set by the relevant oversight government agencies;
- Ensure timely compliance with reportorial requirements on Women and Commission on Audit;
- Draft Project proposal and/or activity designs on GAD-related PAPs;
- Conduct assessment and research activities to gather information on gender and competition;
- Provide administrative assistance and;
- Perform other related duties as required.
