Position: DRDE Extension Coordinator
Place of Assignment: Department of Research, Development and Extension
Monthly Salary : Php 29,165.00
Status of Employment: Service Contract
Qualification Standards:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferably have experience in social work, extension services or community involvement activities / programs
TRAINING: Training in report writing or its equivalent
ELIGIBILITY: Preferably with Career service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility
Duties and responsibilities:
- In-charge the annual planning, implementation, monitoring, marketing and evaluation of all Extension programs/projects/activities;
- Develop extension manual and annual extension program;
- Hold consultation among partners and service providers for project conceptualization and planning;
- Prepare project proposals to address the needs of the target beneficiaries;
- Review, evaluate and consolidate all extension plans and reports;
- Prepares complete staff work (CSW) and reports to the DRDE Director;
- Prepares visual presentation (PPT) for all DRDE researches for internal and external presentations;
- For RC meetings, assist in the preparation of venue, equipment and materials required and other RC-related tasks;
- Updates the DRDE (Extension) Webpage, as well as other online platforms;
- Utilize research findings related to extension services;
- Keeps a complete file of each extension project copy furnished DRDE secretary;
- Assists the DRDE Team in all other tasks, as may be necessary; and
- Assume other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Research, Development and Extension
Position: Research Assistant
Place of Assignment: Department of Research, Development and Extension
Monthly Salary : Php 21,211.00
Status of Employment: Service Contract
Qualification Standards:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferably with thesis writing experience
TRAINING: Training in report writing or its equivalent
ELIGIBILITY: Preferably with Career service (Sub-Professional) / First Level Eligibility or with license related to specialization
Duties and responsibilities:
- Searches for related literature and studies required by the research topic;
- Acts as Deputy RC Secretary;
- Acts as DRDE Quality coordinator;
- Prepares records-related documents (inventory, turnover, etc.)
- Ensures proper data banking and sourcing of related literature and studies;
- Prepares the initial RRL of DRDE researches in consultation with the Education Program Specialist I and under supervision of the EPS II and Statistician II;
- Prepares necessary documents for approved proposals and ensures incentives, etc. for completed researches by processing honoraria requests of presentations, publications and the like;
- Attends to the needs of DRDE researchers as applicable;
- Assists in the DRDE research-related activities to ensure outputs at the Office;
- Works collaboratively with the research team in writing other forms of researches;
- Performs as office secretary as may be necessary;
- Assists the DRDE Team in all other tasks, as may be necessary; and
- Performs other duties which may be required by immediate supervisor
