PMMA GRADUATION ADVISORY
To The Public:
The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy would like to announce that it will hold its 197th Commencement Exercises today, June 12, 2020 at the PMMA Mess Hall.
However, due to the current health crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic the public is hereby informed that the ceremony shall be a closed and private affair. We regret to inform that even the parents, family and friends of the graduating class will not be present to safeguard the health and safety of everyone concerned.
Pre-recorded messages from the guest of honor, PMMA Board of Trustees members, and other stakeholders will be shown instead.
Rest assured that PMMA will strictly implement social/physical distancing and other health protocols before, during, and after the ceremony. Official photos and videos of the event shall be posted afterwards to give a glimpse of the event.
Our utmost concern is the safety of everyone.
