PMMA WELCOMES 283 CLASS 2024 CADETS

Starting at the break of dawn on Sunday, 26 July 2020, 283 new cadets arrived at the gate of PMMA to officially begin their regimented life inside the Academy while maintaining social distancing and other health protocols. These 264 midshipmen and 19 midshipwomen shall comprise PMMA Class 2024 after taking oath at the end of the Indoctrination Period. 
 
Prior to this, a virtual orientation to parents/guardians was held last 20 July 2020 which aimed to discuss the registration process as well as reminders on what to bring and day-to-day routine of the incoming Probationary Midshipmen. The new cadets have already pre-registered online wherein 149 cadets have enrolled in BS Marine Transportation while 134 cadets enrolled in BS Marine Engineering. Moreover, they have secured the necessary travel pass and health clearance before their transit to PMMA. 
 
PMMA commits itself in maintaining the highest quality of maritime education and training amidst this trying times due to the global pandemic. Safety and health protocols are strictly observed as PMMA remains healthy and COVID-19 free.
