Procurement of 55 UNITS LAPTOPS
The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY, through the Fund 101 intends to apply the sum of THREE MILLION EIGHTY THOUSAND PESOS ( Php3,080,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Fifty Five (55) Laptops. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY now invites bids for the acquisition of 55 Laptops. Delivery of goods is 45 calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed.
Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/ fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local or foreign, subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00am-5:00pm.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and at www.pmma.edu.ph , provided that the bidders shall pay the fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY will hold a Pre- Bid Conference on June 15, 2020, 2:00PM at the Sandagat Bldg. near Admin. Bldg., PMMA Complex San Narciso, Zambales which shall be open to all interested parties.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on the Opening of Bids on June 29, 2020, 2:00P.M. at the Sandagat Bldg. near Admin. Bldg.. at PMMA Complex, San Narcsio, Zambales. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated and the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
