Procurement of PMMA Mess Foodstuffs

The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY, through the Fund 101 and 164 intends to apply the sum of FOURTEEN MILLION FOUR HUNDRED NINETY THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETY FIVE PESOS AND 80/100  (Php14,493,495.80 total for : Lot A Rice –P1,894,050.00, Lot B Meat Products-P2,856,920.00, Lot C Poultry- P1,613,850.00, Lot D Fresh and Dried Fish-P1,947,330.00, Lot E  Groceries-P 2,979,496.80, Lot F Vegetables-P2,121,609.00, Lot G Cold Cuts –P1,080,240.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for payments under the contract of PMMA MESS FOODSTUFF. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY now invites bids for Mess Foodstuff. Delivery of Food Supplies is required from August 01  to  December 31, 2020 (5 months contract).

Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/ fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184(RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee for the Bidding Documents (per lot basis as per GPPB Guidelines on sale of bidding documents)                               

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy  at www.pmma.edu.ph , provided that the bidders  shall pay the fee for the Bidding  Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on June 15, 2020, 10:00 A.M. at the Sandagat Bldg. near the Admin Bldg at PMMA Complex San Narciso, Zambales which shall be open to all interested parties . Bidders are also requested to submit the samples for Lot A,B,C,D, E and Lot G.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on the Opening of Bids on June 29, 2020 ,10:00 A.M. at the Sandagat Bldg. near the Admin Bldg. at PMMA Complex, San Narciso, Zambales. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bid shall not be accepted.

The PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
