Ferdinand (Bongbong) Romualdez Marcos Jr, son of the late former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and Imelda Romualdez Marcos, took the seat as the 17th  President of the Republic of the Philippines. President Bongbong Marcos is also an adopted member of PMMA  Class1983 making him an alumnus of the academy.
