ADVANCE TRAINING IN FIRE FIGHTING

This five (5) days course provides training to control fire fighting operations aboard ship, and organized and train fire parties, inspects and train fire detection and extinguishing systems and equipment, and investigates and compiles reports on incidents involving fire. It is open for the training of masters, chief engineers, officers and key personnel serving on board ships. It has particular emphasis on the organization, tactics and command in dealing with fire onboard as specified in Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code. This will be conducted though classroom instruction reinforced by practical demonstration with complete equipment and the best fire fighting facilities.
